Executive Order 13269

Establishes a period of armed conflict beginning September 11, 2001, to allow expedited naturalization for eligible aliens and noncitizen nationals serving honorably on active-duty in the U.S. Armed Forces during the war on terrorism. The EO specifies this timeframe continues until formally ended by a subsequent presidential order.
