Executive Order 12859

Establishes a Domestic Policy Council to coordinate domestic policy formulation and advice within the federal government. Designates the President as chair, with Vice President and key Cabinet secretaries and senior officials as members. Provides for regular meetings led by the President or designee. Requires all executive agencies to coordinate domestic activities through the Council and cooperate with its requests.
