Establishes coordinated federal approach for acquiring, standardizing, and distributing geographic data. Creates a national electronic clearinghouse to facilitate data access. Assigns responsibilities to agencies to avoid duplication, mandates data standards, promotes intergovernmental and private-sector cooperation, and exempts national security activities.
