Summary

Prohibits importation into the United States of Iranian goods and services, except informational materials, irrespective of prior contracts. Blocks exports, reexports, sales, or supplies from the U.S. to Iran, including indirect supply through third countries. Forbids new U.S. investments in Iran and restricts financial dealings involving Iranian goods or the Iranian government. The EO consolidates and supersedes earlier restrictions relating to Iran.
