Open Enrollment Season for Participants in the Foreign Service Retirement and Disability System and the Central Intelligence Agency Retirement and Disability System

Establishes a limited enrollment period from November 1, 1998, to April 30, 1999, allowing Foreign Service Retirement and Disability System participants to switch into the Foreign Service Pension System. Similarly, sets identical timeframe enabling Central Intelligence Agency Retirement and Disability System participants to opt into the Federal Employees' Retirement System. Aligns these two retirement systems more closely with civil service retirement options.
